Are You Moving Through A Hard Life Transition

Happy 1st day of a new month. Not only is it a new month, but it’s also the month where we see life/nature shifting right before our eyes.

How has life been shifting for you?

Are you holding on for dear life fearing the unknown?

Are you basking in the changes like a little child playing in a giant leaf pile?

I’m myself going through lots of shifts and it’s so easy for me to feel overwhelmed, frozen, think worst-case scenarios, or live in panic of fear.

One thing I want to share with you that helps me come back to myself brings ease/soothes my nervous system and mind is telling myself on repeat “I am safe”.

Like fall, we see the changes. For some, it’s refreshing, inviting, and joyful. For others, it’s overwhelming, scary, sad. We know a new season is coming, Winter. Remind yourself that you have survived every winter thus far. And maybe even had many moments of joy during that time.

Life is going to throw us many curve balls, many shifts and transitions but know that you will always have YOU. You are safe. You are wise. Your body is wise. Our bodies can heal themselves. We are built with an internal intuition that even if we “don’t know” the answer our body’s GPS is always with us wanting to guide us to freedom, joy, ease, and peace.

So today I want to invite you wherever you are take three deep belly breaths. Bring your breath to the lowest part of your pelvis and feel where you may feel safety in your body or a lightness. Lean into that sensation. What does security in your body feel like, look like? Where can you feel it in your body? Our bodies know how to survive without us having to do or think or plan, it just knows. Relax all the muscles in your body, relax your shoulders, and your jaw. Repeat the mantra, I am safe.

Feel a sense of peace and lightness that yes, you may be going through some really big scary transitions right now, AND trust in the wisdom of your soul. You will survive this season. Just as you did every season that has changed thus far. This season is bringing to our attention the reminder and space to go slow, take our time, reflect, rest, enjoy this unfolding, and most importantly trust the wisdom of our soul, because it really does know the way.

I believe in you

Keep shining!
